Autumn is the season of Vata — the airy, moving energy of wind and change. As the days shorten, the temperatures drop, and leaves dry and fall from the trees, Vata energy can run high in the body and mind, bringing restlessness, tension, and scattered thoughts. Samhain, the turning of the wheel and the halfway point between the Autumn Equinox and Winter Solstice, invites us to honour our ancestors, acknowledge the thinning of the veil between worlds, and turn inward.
This is a time to shed what no longer serves us, release stress, and invite grounding, warmth, and stillness — exactly what this retreat offers. Together, we will create space to reconnect with our inner rhythm, nurture ourselves, and prepare for the darker months ahead.
Your Day Includes:
-
A warm welcome with tea to settle in
-
90-minute Vata-balancing somatic yoga: grounding, nurturing, and rooted to counterbalance the airy qualities of Vata
-
A mindful woodland walk to gather natural offerings for our Samhain Altar, which we will create together
-
A seasonal, warming vegetarian lunch to nourish and restore
-
Collaborative altar creation followed by a Kirtan session with Gracia Churchill, exploring the mystical stories and healing power of mantra
-
Restorative Yoga closing session: candlelight, soft blankets, and full permission to relax and let go
Step into the season with intention, grounding, and care, leaving the retreat feeling supported, calm, and renewed.

This is not just a yoga retreat. This is a gathering of women ready to remember their power. For five nights we meet at The Mill Space in Cabo de Gata National Park, a wild and sacred place where the female energy runs high.
At the heart of this retreat is the stone circle — a space charged with the fierce, transformative energy of the goddess Kali. Here, I guide you through deep somatic yoga practices to move, feel, and release what your body has been carrying. Together we create a space where you can burn away what no longer serves you, shed old skins, and step into the truth of who you are.
These practices are not small. They are designed to wake you up from the inside, to connect you to your body, and to bring what is hidden to the surface so it can be witnessed, felt, and released. There will be movement, breathwork, ritual, and ceremony. There will be laughter and tears, silence and dancing, rest and raw expression.
And something powerful happens when women come together in this way. The women who joined me in previous years are still meeting, still supporting one another — because this retreat creates community that lasts long after we leave the circle.

Wild Woman 2026
The Venue – The Mill Space
The Mill Space is a 500-year-old restored watermill, a place of history, magic, and quiet power. With curved walls, cane ceilings, wooden beams, and Alhambra-inspired mosaics, it feels like stepping back in time.
The stone circle, just behind the Mill, is our temple for the week — a sacred outdoor practice space with sweeping views of the mountains and Mediterranean. The land here is rich with quartz and iron, giving it a unique energy that supports transformation. Walking the winding stone path to the circle each day feels like a pilgrimage.
After practice, you can swim in The Balsa, a natural spring-fed reservoir that cools and awakens you, or simply rest by the pool and take in the vastness of the valley.
The Mill is just 50 minutes from Almeria airport and 10 minutes from the coastal town of Carboneras, making it both remote enough to feel like a true escape and accessible for travel.
